Couples Looking for Quiet Escape
The views were breathtakingly beautiful, overlooking the ocean and hills below! I enjoyed the early morning hikes into town, it was a challenge but worth every step.
It wasn’t exactly cheap, but definitely worth the price.

I recently spent 3 nights at this lovely place and was blown away by the breathtaking views from our balcony. The breakfast on the terrace was such a treat, with delicious options that made it hard to leave. One thing to know is that the dirt road leading up was a bit bumpy, but it was worth it for the serenity and charm we experienced.

It was just a proper fit for a couple of nights in Monterosso al Mare with attractive and competitive value for money. The sunset views while dining outdoors really added a special touch to our stay. Make sure to have a flashlight if you plan to walk back at night. it gets dark quickly.

Stunning views and awesome host!
We loved chilling in the outdoor dining area at sunset, the views were just breathtaking! Our host, Thisithu, was a gem. he really made our stay special. Only thing is, the hike down to town can be a bit much after a long day. Still worth it for the experience!

incredible ocean views, beautifully restored 13th-century building, stunning grounds
Access road treacherous and narrow!!! Hiking to town can be a challenge, especially at night with limited cab availability!!! It took much longer than expected to get downtown, making evenings quite inconvenient!!!

The views from Eremo Della Maddalena blew me away! Each morning, waking up to see the ocean and the hills was a real treat. The unique decor of the rooms added to the charm. The garden was a beautiful spot to unwind after a day of exploring. I appreciated the hospitable staff, especially Thusitha, who prepared delicious breakfasts daily. The walk down to Monterosso was a bit strenuous, which might not be for everyone, especially after a long day. The dirt road leading up to the hotel could be uncomfortable, but taking it slow made it manageable. I can't recommend having a flashlight if you're planning to walk back at night. it gets dark quickly.

The breathtaking views from the hotel are absolutely unmatched, providing a perfect backdrop for relaxation.
The 20-25 minute hike down to Monterosso Old Town can be quite strenuous, and taxi availability in the offseason was somewhat limited.
